Fires by Nick Antosca

A couple of years ago I won Nick Antosca's novel Midnight Picnic in a contest and when he shipped me the novel he included his debut novel Fires, too (shameless self promotion here: but Nick is also one of the authors who blurbed my book). I read Midnight Picnic first, loved it and subsequently read Fires. Fires has a different tone from Midnight--it's more Bret Easton Ellis. Anyway, Fires is great and it's been out of print for 2 years or so but now it's coming back this October from the small press Civil Coping Mechanisms. Look for it when it drops.
