this is true

a man in all black crept up and peered into different windows of my home for over twenty minutes while i rested on my couch. my neighbor noticed the man crouching and rising to his tiptoes. i noticed odd shadow. the thing about it is that i noticed the same shadow play yesterday.

I have a new story over at HOUSEFIRE. It's called 'There is a Year Without Light.' HOUSEFIRE has also accepted a story of mine called 'The Next Morning Everything Felt Shaded--My Vision Tinted. My Brain Split,' which is forthcoming I do not know when.
